I grew up in a large family on a farm in Montana. I always enjoyed cooking and making sure everyone was content around me. Ever since I graduated from the University of Montana, I had a dream that one day, I would own and operate a Bed & Breakfast.

I chose a career that would facilitate making this dream of mine come true. I fell in love with Oregon Wine Country and chose the Newberg area to build my Bed & Breakfast.

After visiting numerous Bed & Breakfasts around the United States and talking to many guests, I framed a good outline of how I wanted my Bed & Breakfast to be established by redefining the “typical” Bed & Breakfast.

I wanted a Bed & Breakfast where each guest had a comfortable and spacious bedroom, private double vanity bath with large showers, and a private deck or patio. It was also important that the guests have their own space so there was no awkwardness of sharing a living space with the owner, yet still have a quaint, upscale atmosphere with owner interaction.

In addition, I wanted each guest to have the option of having breakfast on their own or to join other guests (which often become new friends!). I wanted the Bed & Breakfast to provide a peaceful, relaxing get-away in the heart of wine country.

I have welcomed over 3,000 customers and I look forward to welcoming you to the Vineyard View Inn!
